Important announcement! 

As you will all know, we feel privileged to be based in one of the area’s iconic historic buildings in the old brewery, Wickwar 

Old buildings like this require constant upkeep and the saleroom is no different

It has just been identified in a routine inspection that works are needed to the roof connecting our saleroom to the main brewing hall in order to ensure our buildings continue to serve us in the months to come 

Therefore, ahead of that will be a full calendar of sales in 2026 - we have made the decision to have these works undertaken now, meaning our next sale will take place in the new year, exact date TBC 

This reflects our commitment to your comfort and the safety / security of the items held in our care ahead of sales 

To clarify, for any vendors that have consigned with us over recent days, your items are held safely and securely ahead of the new year’s sales

We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and all of our customers, buyers and sellers alike for your support in what has been a very special year for us as we launched OBA - we wouldn’t be here without your encouragement, support and patronage 

We are hugely excited to consider what’s to come for OBA in the new year, with updates in our communication systems, new team members and other exciting initiatives planned, it’s going to be a wonderful year!
